About us

The person who quotes your job is the person who builds it.

Seunscope Furniture and Interior NIG Enterprise is a working furniture workshop in Osogbo, Osun State. Not a showroom, not an importer, not a middleman with a catalogue — the bench, the saw and the people are all in one place, and the work goes out from there to the whole country.

We are the workshop, not the middleman.

A great deal of the furniture sold in Nigeria was made by somebody the buyer will never meet — landed in a container, or bought finished from a workshop three towns away and marked up on the way. Seunscope is the workshop. The person who measures your room is the person who cuts the board and the person who hangs the doors.

That only really matters on the day something is not right. A hinge that drops, a drawer that catches, a panel cut a centimetre shy — each of those is a twenty-minute visit when the maker is down the road, and a lost argument when he is a phone number in another country.

Nothing we make comes off a shelf. Every job starts with a measurement and a conversation about how the room is actually used, because a wardrobe for a family of five is not a wardrobe for one person, and a kitchen you cook in daily is not a kitchen you photograph.

We build six things and we build them properly, rather than twenty things and half of them badly: kitchens, wardrobes, TV units and wall panelling, beds and bedroom sets, office and shop fit-out, and the interior finishing that ties a room together. If a job is genuinely outside that, we will say so and point you at someone.

Behind the build

A kitchen going in, start to finish.

Carcasses set and levelled, wall units hung, then every drawer, rack and hinge fitted and checked before we leave. Frames from a job filmed on site.

  1. Base and wall carcasses set in place, open shelving compartments visible before the doors go on

    1 · Carcasses set

  2. A fitter reaching up to align a wall unit against the ceiling of a kitchen under installation

    2 · Wall units hung

  3. A fitter opening a drawer bank to check the runners in a base unit still wrapped in protective board

    3 · Runners checked

  4. A pull-down dish rack being fitted inside a wall cabinet with a bronze glass door

    4 · Racks fitted

  5. An open drawer with a compartmented cutlery insert, against a marble effect splashback

    5 · Inserts in

  6. A fitter hinging the door of a tall unit beside a fridge, under a lit gold glass upper run

    6 · Doors hung

Stills from a phone video taken on site, which is why they are softer than the rest of the photographs here.

What we stand on

Four rules we keep to on every job.

Measure first

We do not cut before we measure. It is the cheapest way to avoid the most expensive mistake.

Build it once

Proper joinery and proper hardware. A door that sags in six months was never a saving.

Say it plainly

If a design will not work in your space or your budget, we say so before you pay, not after.

Finish the job

Delivered, installed, levelled, cleaned up. We are not done when it leaves the workshop.
